I have been amazed, comforted, and deeply saddened by the prevalence of eating disorders among young women and girls today. Amazed that so many individuals can live such a secluded lifestyle. Comforted that I am not the only one. Deeply saddened that the secrecy that shrouds eating disorders continues to constrain so many beautiful and talented individuals who struggle with eating disorders privately.
